Paternoster

What it's actually like

Paternoster is a historic fishing village on South Africa’s West Coast, about two hours from Cape Town by the R27. The riding is off Langstrand Beach, the long beach at Mosselbank north of the village beach, and the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, at Tietiesbaai, lies about 5 km away.

It is a wave spot for experienced riders, described by a windsurf spot guide, a Cape Town kite school, a kite travel guide and a kite spot listing.

The record is a coarse 9 km model with no station check, so treat these figures as a guide.
